And so that was week two of my March challenge. That one seemed a lot more difficult to stick to than the first one for some reason, I also had to cherry pick a couple of really quick to do figures due to lack of time on those days. Still, I managed to keep going (just ..)
March 8th: Spongebob Squarepants
You know you just have to buy some figures when you seen them, this was definitely one of those. Part of a set of pewter Monopoly figures I bought off eBay a year or so ago. Funny thing is, I really enjoyed painting him!
March 9th: Bilbo from the Games Workshop Riddles In The Dark set
The second figure of three that make up the Finecast set that I started last week. These figures are so small they are a real challenge to paint
March 10th: Coracle from the Games Workshop Riddles In The Dark set
And the last part of that set, now completed. This is actually quite nice, complete with details like fish bones
March 11th: Wind turbines from Angel Barracks
I picked these up at the Bristol show in December. Even though they are aimed at 6mm sci-fi games I thought they would do for 15mm as well. I have plans..
March 12th: Senator's Shuttle from Shapeways
My first 3D printed item! I picked this up for use in games of X-Wing, not cheap but I think it's worth it. The detail isn't bad although I added painted panel detailing just to lift the plain fuselage
March 13th: Frodo with the one-ring from Games Workshop
A bit of a cheat as all I had to do was base this clear resin miniature. As I had barely half an hour free this evening, I think I can get away with it
March 14th: Baggage belan from World of Twilight
As I'm backing the Kickstarter for funding the third rules booklet I thought I had better paint a few more Twilight figures. No these aren't sparkly vampires but an entire fresh take on fantasy gaming and creatures. If you're interested in something a bit different then check the game out
Week two complete!
That spongebob is inspired! Cant wait for week three.
